Tourism Resilience and Humanity To Assist Myanmar & Thailand Jamaica-Style
The Global Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management Center responds when tourism regions get into trouble. Today, the center offered any possible assistance to Myanmar and Thailand after the deadly earthquake on Friday. Letters were sent by the Hon. Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett from Jamaica, who is also the co-chair of GTRCM. This situation shows the importance of paying attention to Bartlett’s call at the United Nations for funding for resilience centers around the globe.
